Chic, spacious and contemporary, Palm Springs is a luxury vacation villa rental perched in the heights of Gouverneur area of St. Barth. This stunning holiday home for rent in Saint Barts is the ideal location for a Caribbean high-end experience with mesmerizing views over the surrounding hills and the infinity of the ocean.
The main structure of Palm Springs elegantly reinterprets the traditional West Indies home architecture, characterized by a simple one-story design, four walls, and a pyramidal roof. The kitchen, living and dining area, and master bedroom suite form an independent structure beneath the peaked roof.
The expansive living area and kitchen are completely open to the terrace, pool, and breathtaking view of the Caribbean Sea, thanks to an innovative system of floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors. Two entire walls disappear without any supporting columns, blending indoor and outdoor spaces seamlessly. Just outside the living area, a hardwood dining table that seats ten is sheltered by a cantilevered roof. In the morning, the living area and open kitchen provide a cool refuge from the sun, while in the afternoon, they are bathed in sunlight. The wide deck around the infinity pool offers both sunny chaise lounges and a shaded seating area next to a garden of bougainvillea and coconut palms.
The master bedroom suite continues this high level of design with custom cabinetry in Brazilian wenge wood, polished concrete floors, and carefully planned lighting. Four other bedrooms, each with a private bath, reflect the stylistic influence of the master bedroom, reimagined in different color schemes. One of them is equipped with a small picture-window view into the crystal-clear water of the heated infinity pool.
Palm Springs enjoys an enviable location in one of Saint Bart’s best areas; Gouverneur enjoys a quiet atmosphere, its sandy beach is only a few minutes away by car and the city of Gustavia is a mere six-minute drive.
